It's time for your bridal portraits! Why do I need bridal portraits you ask? For starters it gives you a chance to try out your complete bridal look before wedding day! A bridal session will give you memories to last a lifetime. It will capture the details of the beautiful wedding dress, to the jewelry pieces, shoes, hair, and maybe you'll even have a part of history included in your look. It will preserve that special day for future generations.

Now, let's get started with What to Bring...
Dress
Veil
Shoes + another pair of comfortable shoes (for walking)
Undergarments
Touch-up Makeup
Jewelry pieces (including your engagement ring)
Bouquet (don't hesitate to ask your florist if they include bridal portrait bouquet and don't forget to keep it in water before your session)
Hair Accessories
Pay attention to weather (if you'll need a jacket if it's a little chilly)
And the last but most important ...bring a friend/family member to help out!
Let's talk about location...

Don't hesitate to let your photographer know exactly what you are looking for or hoping to capture out of your bridal session. Your photographer may have some location spots in mind that will align exactly what you are looking for. Another option is contacting your wedding venue to see if they would allow you to capture your bridal portraits at their venue. Make sure to give them a good heads up. Their venues get booked up quick and you can almost guarantee weekends are not going to be available to you for your bridal portraits but it never hurts to ask.
When should I schedule my bridal Session?
A good time to schedule your bridal session would be 4-8 weeks prior to your wedding date. This will give you time to have your dress cleaned or any additional alterations you will need. Additionally, this will give your photographer enough time to edit your portraits, in the event, you would like to have your portraits displayed at your wedding.
The most important piece to scheduling your bridal portraits is making sure to schedule your hair, makeup, and speak with your florist before confirming a date/time with photographer.
Now, go create memories and have some FUN!
